OUR STORY

Grey Panther Management was founded by Gary and Lottie Skuthe-Cook in 2005 when they saw an opportunity to bring their passion for delivering excellence to the world of leadership development. In doing so, they created a thriving, values-based consultancy that continues to go the extra mile to provide an outstanding, genuinely transformational client experience.

 

As Grey Panther Management has evolved, we’ve retained a deep commitment to proactively challenging the status quo at every turn to ensure our clients receive world-leading, truly bespoke leadership and team development solutions.

MEET LOTTIE

It’s so good to meet you, and thank you for giving me a moment to introduce myself.

There’s been a lot of talk so far about a passionate commitment to supporting and developing your leaders and your teams.


I pride myself on delivering perfectly tailored transformational training and coaching solutions to bring lasting change to your business, and I’m sure by now, you’ll want to see how my experience and credentials back all these promises up.

So, just for a moment, let’s talk about my background and training:

  • While working in the corporate world for 15 years, I successfully held director roles responsible for quality and standards, business development, sales and operations.
     

  • I’ve worked for almost 20 years as an independent consultant supporting a diverse range of businesses, from SMEs to large multinational organisations across global markets and a wide range of industry sectors.
     

  • Based in the UK, I’ve worked cross-culturally with teams worldwide.
     

  • I’m Swedish, and I’m also fluent in English and German, in terms of both language and culture.

And in terms of accreditations,
I’ve been busy…

  • I’m a certified NLP Master Practitioner, a certified NLP Master Coach and an accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the ICF with well over 1000 accumulated coaching hours.
     

  • I’m a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation), the AC (Association for Coaching) and the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).
     

  • I’m accredited for DISC personality profiling and Hogan Assessment Systems personality profiling.
     

  • I’m also qualified in Hogan 360, aps Reflections 360 and aps High Performing Team Assessment.

 

  • I'm certified in the Dynamics of High Performing Teams with Management Dynamics.
     

  • I’m a qualified 5 Behaviours of a Cohesive Team facilitator.
     

  • I’m certified to conduct StandOut Results feedback and Coach to the TMBC model.
     

  • I’m trained in part I of "Essentials of Systemic Coaching and Constellations" (John Wittington).
     

  • I’m also trained in “Unlocking EQ” with sixseconds – the Emotional Intelligence Network.

And just to prove it’s not all work and no play around here...

Listening is the cornerstone of effective change. And listening with respect to others’ opinions is essential when teams and their leaders are looking to manifest long-lasting, effective change. The doors must always be held open, conversation channels must never be shut down, and I achieve that by respecting other people’s views.

Special thanks to the artist and friend Mike Dowman, who presented this watercolour painting of the Grey Panther to Lottie on her 50th birthday. Mike and his family have shown unwavering support to Lottie in her mission to uphold Gary’s legacy.

WHY GREY PANTHER MANAGEMENT?

The idea for Grey Panther Management came from our company’s co-founder, Gary. He loved the panther’s elegance and admired how this graceful animal balanced its natural poise with its unpredictable, explosive power and instinct to hunt. And he'd also turned grey (or as he preferred to say, silver!)

 

In 2005, Gary died, but Lottie made it her mission to uphold his legacy by committing to growing and nurturing Grey Panther Management, a business that responds elegantly to any situation we find ourselves in, gracefully accepts and relishes the challenges of uncertainty and responds powerfully and intentionally in unpredictable times.
